North win Indian Restaurant refurbishment project

Posted on February 03, 2017

We are delighted to announce that North will be working with Fitzgerald Architects on the refurbishment of the former Indian restaurant Bollywood on Aberdeen’s Union Street.

The project will involve our team remodelling the existing restaurant with all new bespoke joinery items including booth seating, restaurant divider, bar area and servery being produced at our in house joinery workshop, as well as creating a feature wall with the original granite wall.

As part of the project we will be carrying out an extensive refurbishment of the toilets, which will include some unique features, which we will share with you as the project proceeds.

Our team will also be involved in the decoration, installation of new lighting, flooring and furniture.

The restaurant, called Wild Ginger, will be the sister restaurant to the Echt Tandoori, an already highly popular Indian restaurant within the North East area and therefore it is with great excitement that we take on this project.

This will be a welcome addition to Union Street and we will keep you posted with pictures and updates, as well as the date for the grand opening.
