North start work to recreate WW1 trench
Posted on October 03, 2018
North Group are thrilled to be appointed as the main contractor on a unique cultural heritage project. Collaborating with a world-class military museum, the works will include the formation of a replica trench system from the First World War as part of its visitor experience.
This is an exciting and unusual project for our team of multi-skilled trades professionals. The completed scheme promises to be an emotive addition to The Gordon Highlanders Museum, conveying the challenges of life within the confines of the trenches. The aim is to evoke a greater understanding on the horrors of war to a new generation of visitors.
Here is an exclusive preview of the ongoing works, as captured on site this week.
