Based on St Andrew Street in Aberdeens city centre and previously known as Houz of Brouz, North Group worked closely with owner Jordanna Bradley and Dundee-based architect Jon Frullani to identify the changes needed for the award-winning beauty and cosmetic clinic.
Creating a comprehensive plan for the new unit, North Group's experienced team got to work stripping out the existing units before laying the groundwork for the exciting next stage of the Houz of Aesthetics rebrand. Setting up new partitions to establish and form the layout of the clinic, glass doors and fitments were also designed and fitted across 3 clinics, on top of an entirely new kitchen to help provide the Houz of Aesthetics team with an area they can be proud of and use for themselves.
With new power, lighting and electric heating required throughout the clinic, special consideration was taken to ensure everything was arranged safely and properly, including meeting the plumbing requirements to form the new toilet and specialist sanitary ware throughout the clinic, meeting the NHS specifications.
Finally, to create the type of atmosphere that Houz of Aesthetics wants to promote, North Group worked on the aesthetic design of the clinic with full decoration throughout. The design included the new ceramic tiled reception floor, as well as the vinyl floor throughout the remainder of the clinic. For the front of the shop, North Group manufactured the reception desk, shelving and cupboard units, new wall panelling, upholstered seating and slatted screens for the comfort and benefit of customers, as well as fitting a new front door to welcome everyone in. To finish the project, we included various signage within the unit to bring it all together.
A fantastic project for one of Aberdeen's brilliant start-up businesses, North Group were delighted to help Houz of Aesthetics grow for the next stage of its development.
